Imagination Station: logos, brochure, and study guides
Presented by The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, The Imagination Station is a unique, new format for schools to use theatre as a way to help kids make good decisions on their own, and give them the tools to handle any challenge that may come their way. The Imagination Station is designed to use Social-Emotional Learning to support students’ development of 21st Century Skills. Everything needed for a successful assembly is provided, including sets, costumes, props, and all technical necessities. My job was to create some logos for each of these shows and the accompanying brochure and study guides. The aim was to use bright, primary colors to appeal to the younger audience but still maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic for the teachers and administrators booking the shows. The brochure offers information for the program as a whole and each individual show. The study guides have small activities to help enhance the experience and reinforce the lessons learned. Gotta say, designing the logo for a show called The Stinky Foot Man is probably the highlight of my career so far.
